Me

I am currently pursuing Masters in Data and Computational Science from University College Dublin. I have 4 years of experience in IT industry where I worked for 2 years each in Insurance and Banking domain.

Python and R are my go to programming language, and I also have experience in C, COBOL, RPG, CL & Wolfram. I am comfortable to work in RStudio for R, PyCharm for Python, Anaconda (for both) with best practices of Version Control using Git. I am also familiar with tools like Spyder, Mathematica, MATLAB, Xilinx ISE, Tanner Electronic Design Automation.

I have used SQL extensively in my professional experience to get to the root cause of the issues, to generate metric data for dashboards and used it as programming language too.

I am well versed with Data Science Concepts, such as Regression Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Model building, Machine Learning among others and Engineering concepts like Digital Electronics, Analog and Digital Communication, High Performance Computing.

I love to explore datasets and generate insights from it. In my professional experience I used SQL extensively for doing the same. Parallel to my current MSc, I applied data science skill sets in my own thoughtful projects and some freelancing projects and got more passionate in data wrangling.
